It isn't very often that one can rave about a service call. Frequently today, we are reminded that professionalism, punctuality, and strict attention to detail are things of the past — replaced by annoying “tech-speak,” high prices, and repeated visits. Not so in our case! Faced with a power outage in half of our house, and unable to achieve restoration with breaker tripping, we looked in the Yellow Pages and found the listing for Sapienza Electric. We called at 9:15pm, discussed the problem with the courteous Rich, and he arrived promptly in a mere 20 minutes. After a thorough investigation, he determined that our power box was degraded due to water seeping in from the exterior. He carefully and patiently explained to us how the situation would be remedied. Rich reported back at 8:15 am the next day. He not only successfully completed the job, but he also coordinated with LIPA for their technicians to work concurrently and make pertinent modifications on roof wires/cables. Sapienza Electric exceeded our expectations and we are pleased to highly recommend them to all who are in need of electrical services and welcome ethical and empathetic conduct.

Called Sapienza  because the breaker kept turning ac off. We thought the breaker was faulty. He told us it was

probably the ac that needed fixing.

Other electricians wanted big fees just to look at. It turned out the ac condenser

Was unfixable. Saved us time and money.
